“Grey Pony with Dog”
INSPIRATION
Many of my horse sculptures are combined horse with other animals in a whimsical way. This dog is actually one that belongs to an artist friend who has a horse. Although he did not sit on the horse, I liked the idea of it.
Technical Information
This work is entirely hand made out of high-fired stoneware and stained porcelain clay to give the soft grey. All detail is hand modelled and the surface patterning is hand trailed in porcelain slip.
