This elegant statement piece was inspired by the beautiful Hibiscus flowers growing in our garden, and hand-built during Lockdown. A combination of poetry and art is prevalent in quite a lot of my work and I enjoy taking a meaningful or inspiration quote and incorporating it into my art. This vase was created to encourage us to stop and smell the proverbial roses, or in this case Hibiscus, whilst reminding us that art has the ‘mysterious power to move a person deeply’ – DUENDE
This multi-functional bottle vase was created from white stoneware, decorated with delicately sculpted flowers on the shoulder, hand painted Hibiscus flowers and finished with gold lustre accents.
The perfect combination between art and function that will come alive with a cutting from your garden, your favourite bunch of flowers or simply displayed as a focal point in your home.
