I created this plate in 2018 for Woman’s Day. When we remember how women fought against apartheid, with the saying; “You strike a woman, you strike a rock. You dislodge a boulder.” Also on the plate is “Amandla” a rally cry of the anti-apartheid movement meaning power. In 2020 with BLM the fight for justice continues.
